❝Our anxiety does not come from thinking about the future, but from wanting to control it.❞ ~Kahlil Gibran

Embrace Diversity and Inclusivity through times of Covid-19 in order to decrease anxiety.

All employers are required to take their staff through Diversity workshops, which are subsidised by the SETA.

FACTS:

The world has changed and the workplace has become more inclusive over time.  However, even though we have made some inroads, the discrepancy between diversity and inclusivity is even more relevant during the current pandemic.

  • Companies are struggling to get their workforce integrated back into the workplace.
  • Staff feel anxious about contracting Covid-19 when returning to the workplace.
  • The stigma of dealing with staff who have had Covid-19 is real.

OUR PROPOSAL:

  • Offer crucial group coaching conversations in a safe group coaching environment.
  • Embrace Diversity and Inclusivity through times of Covid-19 in order to decrease anxiety.
  • Empower your workforce to understand differences and develop tolerance in order to create a healthy and productive workplace.
  • Bring your workforce up to speed on new concepts and empower them to deal with today’s challenges.

HOW:

  • Facilitate a 3 hour online coaching conversation workshop with 20 – 25 people.
  • Support staff to embrace diversity and inclusion in a changed work environment.

PROPOSED OUTCOMES:

  • Opening communication about anxiety creates a shift in thinking about Diversity and Inclusivity during Covid-19 = normalises the pandemic.
  • A problem shared is a problem halved = lessens anxiety.
  • A sense of community – we are all in this together = reduced absenteeism.
  • Minimising the stigma around Covid-19 = more collaboration, creativity, showing up and presence in the workplace

TAKEAWAYS:

  • Understanding that Covid-19 is all inclusive.
  • Understanding of Diversity and Inclusivity in the workplace.
  • Building a healthier work environment.
