Finding your SILVER LINING…

Feeling stressed, overwhelmed or anxious?

Inherently, we know what causes stress and anxiety.  

Some of the most common causes are: 

  • Financial pressures
  • Relationships issues eg.  children / difficult teenagers, marriage, partners, etc.
  • Health
  • Bereavement 
  • Moving house 
  • Job loss
  • Stress from an emotional trauma

Anxiety is proven to lead to depression if ignored and untreated.  

During these unprecedented times, we are so busy trying to uplift others, that we neglect to look after our own vulnerabilities and needs.

Friendships and relationships are tested and put under strain.

Working from home comes with it’s own set of challenges.

Children are anxious and trying to negotiate their new normal, whilst having very few social interactions and navigating online schooling.

Matriculants are battling their final year of school under incredibly challenging circumstances.

Our teenagers are battling their new lifestyle, as their usual lifeline and social circle is inaccessible.

So… how do we find the SILVER LINING?  

Here is a breathing technique we have found to be very useful…

  1. Exhale completely through your mouth, making a whoosh sound. 
  2. Close your mouth and inhale quietly through your nose to a mental count of 4
  3. Hold your breath for a count of 7
  4. Exhale completely through your mouth, making a whoosh sound to a count of 8.

As part of our service offering, we provide coaching and assist you with developing and harnessing your coping skills.
